The combat system can be a bit cumbersome to get accustomed to for BG3 players new Baldur's Gate 3 GamePlay to D&D. There's a large variety of things you can do each turn, and even things like elevation and the surface you're standing on can affect attacks.

Keeping track of characters and quests can also be a real challenge, even with the quest journal helping.
